So what do lizards have to do with electronics and promoting STEM topics? Well the brilliance of M.C. Escher of course! As the penultimate divider of the plane, Escher used graphic design and the math behind it to change the way we look at the world around us. Isn't that what we want to encourage in our kids nudging them toward success in STEM related jobs?
We were early to the party at TechShop. I signed up as soon as memberships became available mid this year. I also signed up for the first class the day TechShop opened and learned to use the Universal Laser Systems laser cutter. The rest as they say is history! One month later I had designed tables for the Murmuration Festival, and TWO booths.

I had to attend to the American school that was challenging for me because I didn’t know the language well. I only knew a few phrases, but I observed a lot of differences between Russian and American school.
